An unreal song by an unreal band. Videos pretty trippy with sick effects. Almost like the video Strawberry swing by Coldplay. CHECK HER OUT

Great video, they took rather boring world issues and introduced them in a way that made it interesting. The Google search results were a good touch to keep the viewer hooked and entertained. The way they animated pictures and made them move across the screen kept the video from being dull, entertaining the viewers. They added alot  of good issues and events that has affected many lives around the world, most of these are events that I have not even heard of. Separating these events by titles, in my opinion a great touch and perfect colouring, gave it more organization and made it more enjoyable to watch. Again the effects were really well done, the E-mail idea was great to indroduce topics and a fun way to demonstrate your point. All around great video with valuable information which was actually fun to watch. CHECK HER OUT.

If you scroll down, this video is comparable to "What you know". Another cool video portraying facts in a cool way. Give her a check out tooooo.

Parents Be Crazy

Parents almost treat their child today as an intercessory. Dolling them up, having enormous one year old birthday parties? Does that make sense? Who remembers their first birthday? Who remembers their 5th, 6th or 7th? By our parents babying us, we are loosing our natural instinct to excel independently. Whenever you say to your parent, "your to overprotective." It is actually true, and is a problem. Confidence and street smarts are lost due to this overprotective quality parents have. The fact that parents are slowly using technology to control and monitor their kids is just sick. Do they really need to know where their kids are at all times? I believe this is completely true, and is in my family. The effort to make your baby better, is in fact, making children less fitted for life when we grow up.  Children have turned into projects, the life that the parent wasn't able to succeed in. We are the dream that the parent wants for them self. Children just need to live life, get their own personal experiences and to make their own mistake. In result we are making and learning from our mistakes to late in life, leaving us a step behind. Chinese people are probably smarter because their parents are harder on them have more and better life experiences expanding their minds. Parents are simply crazy and way to over protective. If you think about nature, birds, when they learn to fly they are gone into the world alone. That's how nature intends it to be.

Wow....

Wendy Scott, a teacher of at North Brookfield Elementary School in Massachusetts, tried to ban pencils and pens in her classroom. It's completely ridiculous because you sorta need them to do schoolwork and because it's just a freaking pencil and pen.

A Teacher Tried To Ban Student-Brought Pencils And Pens In School

Somebody. Is. Paranoid. You just gotta think how bad her students were in the last couple years for her to go completely nuts. To take away pencils? Alright their chief. Unless she tosses each kid a grand to go grab a laptop, shes completely insane. It's funny to hear about obscured stories like these which bring a solid smile to your face. What she said about pencils being used as weapons, I can believe, yet the entire withdrawal is just over the top. Maybe a firm talking to if a penicl is used as a weapon but removing them out of the classroom. HA. Stories like these Make me laugh. Anyone knows anymore, post em up!

An absolutely trippy and solid video on the progression of the human race and technology over the years. This information might not have been so fascinating if it weren't for the cool video. It helps the video maker get his point across and keep people interested instead of just putting these facts on a cite.  Unreal video that is sure to make you think.

Aliens Eh!

It's unreal to think that there are actual aliens that roam around on different Earths such as ours. To think we are not alone, and the goal to alien communications is closer than we thought, is magnificent. I only wish I was born in a hundred years to see the day alien interaction is possible. The idea of space is trippy and everything about it amazes me.
Cheeky and boring looking video, but check her out. Interesting stuff.

Don't Follow Your Dream

A paper written by Harrison Solow, which discusses the lack of effort the younger generations are putting into their "dream", as a result from their lack of knowledge. We, as a generation are under the impression that if we have a dream, it will come true, no effort is required as long as we know what were striving towards. Although i believe this article is bias, I completely agree. Society believes that as long as they have a dream, it will come true, this is not the case. I think children at a younger age need to learn that with a dream, comes effort. Your dream just doesn't come true, it needs to be worked toward. It's their parents fault for misguiding us into believing we can become anything our heart desires. Teachers also need to be more straight up on marking, to help the student realize if talent is there or not. Overall society has become lazy and misguided toward their futures, and this may be in result due to the age of which we are required to select our future. Grade 11, high school is the year of which electives toward your future must be decided, in my opinion way to early. Teenagers are quickly forced to choose something their believe at the time will be what they want to do. In most cases, they choose wrong, yet going with the flow because all other options have been shut down. Resulting in a child in a course or career he/she is not good at or don't like, impacting ones effort in life.

Individual Proposal

This project is a short film, around 1-2 mins displaying the addiction of Facebook. How it becomes a way of life. This will be a documentary film with flash backs and voice overs. The subject, will be a regular teenage boy describing how he became addicted to Facebook, as flashbacks play. In the flashbacks his boy will begin to become Rotoscoped. Slowly the addiction (Rotoscoping) will consume his body showing how his life has been effected. The subject will describe it as a cite, instead of Facebook as i will try and portray it as a pornographic cite, yet in the end revealing it as Facebook. I will use a Video camera, microphone and lights for the recording, interview and filming of the project. Also i will use, after affects, premier and Photoshop to construct this film. This ideas uses allot of aspects making the production time long and a somewhat more difficult. Starting the project soon in necessary.

Street Sound

There are an unreal amount of artists that haven't yet made it off the streets into record deals, although most of the times, are better than the people with them. In today's day in age, the voice you hear in songs is not their original voice and for me that totally destroys the vibe of the song. Major artists now-a-days can carry terrible voices and still make it big. Concerts are a great example of this, the black eyed peas are absolutely terrible at singing. But these artists off the street are real, their voices are amazing and there talent is extraordinary. Its to bad some big name people who absolutely suck are getting the opportunity of a lifetime and poisoning our airways with terrible music while these young great artists are getting suck on the streets.

Beauty Commercials

Commercials have the power to alter the way you feel. They can cheer you up or bring you down, some are empowering and some are just down right stupid. What i don't get about these commercials is why a company would put so much money into making them, knowing they are to inappropriate for T.V.  Sure they will get hits on Youtube, but most people watch T.V. and thats where a commercial would work the best for them. These commercials below are more in the category that will cheer you up. Most if not all of these commercials are banned and for obvious reasons, yet they are a great way to put a smile on your face.

I would post what each commercial is about but then that's just taking away half the fun.
Enjoy

Armed Against Cervical Cancer.

Drug manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline has launched its first consumer-focused campaign in support of its vaccine Cervarix. The vaccine protects against the viruses HPV 16 and 18, which are known to cause most cases of cervical cancer.
The campaign's centerpiece is a 30-second TV spot called "Tattoo Punch" (there is also a French-language version). The spot opens on a blurry silhouette of a woman and slowly advances through a series of screens bearing typewritten facts regarding cervical cancer, such as "up to 4 out of 5 women will be infected with the virus that causes cervical cancer" and "every 6 hours, one Canadian woman is diagnosed with cervical cancer."
The images are accompanied by a melancholy piano line and voiceover reciting the sobering statistics.
After the final revelation that "every day, one of us dies of cervical cancer" appears on the screen, viewers see a close-up of the woman's face, her mouth set in determination...

A very empowering commercial made by Cervarix, a Cervical Cancer Preventing drug quickly grabs your attention due to the "out of the Ordinary" grey one and blurred vision. The voices in the background emphasize the amount of women who go face this type of cancer and the women standing up against it. The music is what really gets me thought, the screaming and the punch threw the glass is what makes the commercial empowering. By saying "One of us dies" they try to unite all women and make them feel part of something to give them the courage to stand up to Cancer. I was watching Much Music and every commercial break this one would come up. They are reaching for young audiences to get vaccinated at a younger age before it is to late. The commercial even grabbed my attention quickly which made me feel like i needed to post it.

This will be a comedy about 2 different people's situations (Haven't decided yet). One situation will be a fellow holding something way to heavy for his own ability. Are Adults being to sensitive?

WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court on Tuesday expressed sympathy for a California law that aims to keep children from buying ultra-violent video games in which players maim, kill or sexually assault images of people.
But justices seemed closely split on whether the restrictions are constitutional.
The high court has been reluctant to carve out exceptions to the First Amendment, striking down a ban on videos showing graphic violence to animals earlier this year.
California officials argue that they should be allowed to limit minors' ability to pick up violent video games on their own at retailers because of the purported damage they cause to the mental development of children. Some justices appeared to agree.
"We do not have a tradition in this country of telling children they should watch people actively hitting schoolgirls over the head with a shovel so they'll beg with mercy, being merciless and decapitating them, shooting people in the leg so they fall down," Chief Justice John Roberts said.
Roberts decried that one game lets a player "pour gasoline over them, set them on fire and urinate on them." ''We protect children from that," he said. "We don't actively expose them to that."
California's 2005 law would prohibit anyone under 18 from buying or renting games that give players the option of "killing, maiming, dismembering or sexually assaulting an image of a human being." Parents would be able to buy the games for their children, but retailers who sell directly to minors would face fines of up to $1,000 for each game sold.

I can't believe how seriously some "grown ups" are taking video games. No kid is going to beat a girl over the head with a shovel or go bring home a stripper. High authority is being to rash about video games now-a-days and need to relax a bit. They are not allowed to sell a game with "killing, maiming, dismembering or sexually assaulting an image of a human being." to anyone under 18!?!? Are they serious!? So i cant go and buy call of duty because it has killing? Now that just doesn't make sense. Either way the kid is going to get the game so why put such a high restriction on it. Their parents will buy the game for them anyways so whats the difference. People are beginning to become a little to uptight these days. Anything you do will offend someone. People need to sit back and relax and take life a little less serious.

Future Shawn Whites

It blows my mind how these ten year old kids can pull off things I will never be able to do. It actually pisses me off to tell the truth. I only wish I could have started something like snowboarding at such a young age so at my age right now I'd be a phenom. I will definitely be showing my kid the slopes at a young age so i can mooch off his great doings.  After all isn't that the point of kids? Due to the rising popularity of snowboarding, kids are starting at a younger age influencing the skill of our youth. Snowboarding was considered to be a fad, a cool thing rather than going down a hill on dorky skis. A popular sport among teen-agers. Yet now-a-days  with more and more boarders hittin' up the slopes, people of all ages are taking an interest in the sport. Long story short, snowboarding is better.

Not just a fad, a lifestyle

Originally named "The Facebook"
"The Social Network",this years  box office smash hit, luring audiences of all types, and creating an enormous amount of attention. I had the luxury of witnessing this movie a couple days ago, and I would love to give my opinion on this great flick. "The Social Network" is a walk through, through the life of Mark Zucherberg (Jesse Eisenberg) the creator of Facebook and his path to fame and 500 million friends. Mark starts of the film being a victim to a breaking then running straight for one of his only friends, his computer to blog and make a website that would cause Harvard's Network to crash gaining the attention of the Winklevoss twins, Cameron and Tyler (both played by Armie Hammer with additional shots using Josh Pence as a stand in). They bring in the idea of The Harvard Connection and the movie takes off.

The movie is composed of flashbacks during 2 court hearings. One with  Eduardo Saverin (played by Andrew Garfield) and there with the Winklevoss twins and their partner Divya Narendra (played by Max Minghella). The movie starts to take off when the Winklevoss' are brought to the attention of The facebook and how their idea had been stolen. TheFacebook continues to grow, and within less than a year the site has gained over 150,000 members and is available on several college campuses, including Stanford, where Sean Parker, the founder of Napster (played by Justin Timberlake), discovers the site and arranges a sitdown taking interest in the concept. Eduardo, takes no liking to Sean and this is where Eduardo and Mark slowly start deteriorating as friends due to different interests for the company. The movie plays off these events and leads to a very interesting plot that will keep your attention throughout the whole one hour and twenty one minutes.

Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg
I have absolutely nothing to say about this cast as it was done phenomenally. I really enjoyed how aside from Justin Timberlake, the main characters were not big name actors as it gave a more `real` feel to the movie. Jesse Eisenberg playing Mark Zuckerberg was played exceedingly well as he portrayed the character lifelike and a real on the fence sort of character. During the entire movie Mark Zucherberg was a complete ass hole to his friends and to the people who cared about him, making it hard to make him your favorite character yet watching him and how people kept ripping at him almost made you feel sympathy for him.

Justin Timberlake was a big surprise for me as me played his role extravagantly portraying the character as a Villain yet Hero. It was hard to root for him as he was all over the place, gaining your trust then throwing it away. Justin being the only big time actor, gave the movie a `real`sort of feel yet adding a tiny hint of the celebrity side of the story, which made the story a bit more believable. Eduardo is a the honorable loving character who you can`t help to cheer for. His innocence and true love for the website make you fall in-love with him. Most of the plot is based around the friendship of mark and Eduardo and the true meaning of friendship and how important a friend is to you.

I really enjoyed the movie as a whole, but for me the introduction of each character were the some one the best scenes of  the movie.

The Scene above is the first time we see Sean in the movie and he is introduced as a funny yet smart man. One of the best scenes in the movie.

What I took out of this movie the most, is the power of friendship and how fame and fortune can deteriorate those friendships that you care about most. Money is evil and will make people do stupid things. It makes you blind, deprives you of what you once know and influences you to a whole new you, in most cases an ass-hole. People don`t get to where they are by being nice. Oprah Winfrey on T.V. is a nice caring lady who helps people who cannot help themselves, yet behind the scene is a complete bitch and this is how they portrayed Mark in this movie which I believe may be a bit misleading and unfair to Mark Zuckerberg.

Honestly i believe if you are over the age of 12, you`ll have a great time watching this movie. Yet not all true, the movie gives you a good idea of the struggles one was forced to go through to make the worlds most visited website in the world. I would recommend anyone to go and watch is for after watching if you will see Facebook in a whole new light and will appreciate it that much more. The movie only gives off a bit of toilet talk and some use of drugs which i feel PG-13 is suitable. At the age of 13 i believe you are mature enough to at least watch this movie for not every kid is going to mimic the actors and do drugs. Overall no major complaints on this movie, the only minuscule thing i can rip about it how much of an ass-hole they made Mark Zuckerberg look like as i feel like that may not be a fair representative of himself. Yet aside from that, a great flick and in my opinion could easily go for movie of the year. A must see movie.

He likes snowboarding, soccer, lacrosse and like any other man out there, loves long walks on the beach under the sunset glow in a speedo. Currently un-employed and broke, Luke is loafting on looking for a job which he desperately needs. This bio is short and sweet, just as he likes his women.

Curb Your Enthusiasm

A show that has been brought to my attention in the last couple weeks is Curb Your Enthusiasm, a splendid show on it's eighth season. Every circumstance in the show someone in the world can relate too and the make it funny as h*ll. Similar to Seinfeld, this show goes through different life like situations that will get you saying "I know exactly what they mean!" You will bust a nut when watching this show as it is growing all over North America.  This scene made me tear up as i couldn't stop laughing. Darn plastic wrap...

Definitely a show to be on the look for <3

Just filthy cheddar

The absolutely flippin' amazing parkour athlete, Ryan Doyle, jumps from roof-top to roof-top in my favorite place in the world. Being Greek and only 1 year ago seeing the roof tops and scenery he was playing on. Santorini will always be my favorite place to be and hopefully within the next year i will return to the indescribably amazing volcanic isle.

This city in Greece is famous for its magical atmosphere, breathtaking views, and unique architecture. These same qualities make it a perfect place for Ryan Doyle to jump seamlessly building to building.

Presenting the New Mercedes Benz SCL600

Looks like your average ugly "Trying to be more futuristic" piece of junk, until you get a whiff of the interior....

........................Joy stick controlled with absolutely no pedals.......................

Its cool to see how much video games can influence to modern world. Now a 3-year-old can steal your car and drive it better than you can! I feel like this would be harder to get used to and would be more work on your arms. Keeping at a constant speed on a faster road such as a highway, you will have to push the joystick down for a long period of time making your arm tired. The idea seems cool non the less and i hope sometime soon i will get to experience this futuristic new way. Yet at the moment i feel like this will make things harder instead of easier. Although the interior looks kind of like a space ship which is cool.

Big B-Streisand

Would like to start off by saying this is what a real music video should look like. A bunch of randoms and celebrities having fun, not scripted, just life. The song will get anyone dancing and i love how they got different celebs to have their own part in the song, like the drums, keyboard and the turntable. They add a joking kind of touch to the video which makes it fun and live. Its just a bunch of people having fun which ultimately will and the audience have fun watching it! Great track!

Canada to switch to plastic bills next year

They say money doesn't grow on trees. Well, the federal government has taken that adage to heart — it announced earlier this week that Canada's paper-cotton banknotes would be replaced by newly designed plastic ones next year.
It's part of a plan to modernize and protect Canadian currency against counterfeiting.
The new plastic bills, made from a polymer material, are harder to fake, recyclable, and two to three times more resistant to tearing, the Bank of Canada said.
Australia has used polymer banknotes since the 1990s, and an Australian company will provide the material for Canada. Several other countries have adopted polymer banknotes including New Zealand, Vietnam and Romania.
The new notes won't be in circulation until sometime in 2011. In the meantime, the central bank is keeping mum on what the new bills will look like.
"I can't divulge that information because they will be issued in about 18 months — that's a long ways away," said Bank of Canada spokesperson Julie Girard. "We want to keep a little bit of information from potential counterfeiters so they don't get a leg up and start producing any counterfeits."
CBC News wanted to get some local Canadians' impressions of the polymer bills. Reporter Sandra Abma took an Australian banknote and a classic cotton-paper Canadian bill and asked people on the streets of Ottawa to compare. The opinions were mixed.
"It would be easier to lose, I think," said one woman, after rubbing her fingers on the polymer bill. "It's soft and smooth and it could slide out easier."
"This feels like Monopoly money actually," said a young man. "It's like I took this out of a board game and then went to buy Timmy's with it."

I feel like this may solve one issue, yet, make another rise.  Pollution has been a big issue throughout the development of our world and how would the production of PLASTIC bills help the cause. The mass production of any plastic is in no way healthy for the environment, and to think of how many bills and plastic they will have to produce...

Unheard of band Paper Lions, kill it with their song "Lost the War" from the new EP " Trophies"

Almost done, just one more :(

Undeniable the best show on that big box in your living room. The one show i will watch out for and always excited for that new episode. Entourage season 7, the newest of the Entourage series features the beginning of Vince's downfall. I think the Trailer was very well done as it gives you a sight into each episode of the season. It begins with the introduction of the 5 main characters, Vince, E, Turtle, Drama and the great Ari Gold. The first shot of Vince shows him a little out of it, looking like a mess, foreshadowing of what is to come. They give an individual shot of each person then show some scenes from the season about each character which i find as a cool way to introduce the characters. Entourage is returning with 1 more season as well as a movie that I'm looking forward to like CRAZY. The 7th season gave the 8th a whole lot of potential, it looks unreal.

Hello Hello Hello

The line in the middle was already there in the original, the lighting er summin. Not my bad...

Simply Elegant

Somewhere I Belong-Linkin Park

My Favorite band of all time with so many good songs it took days to decide what song should go up. There definitely a band to look out for. Do it up.

Future of Linkin Park

BURBANK, CA, Sep 14, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- "A THOUSAND SUNS," the highly anticipated fourth studio album from Grammy award winning alternative artist Linkin Park is out today (Machine Shop Recordings/ Warner Bros). Co-produced by Rick Rubin and Linkin Park co-lead vocalist, Mike Shinoda, the album features 15 tracks, including the #1 alternative radio and Billboard Rock Songs Chart single, 'The Catalyst.' The second single 'Waiting For The End' has just impacted radio and is off to an equally fast start.........Whole Linkin Park Article

Linkin Park. By far my favorite all around band who continues to bring the world new and completely different sound that always surprises us. With their first two albums, Hybrid theory and Meteora blowing me away, their last two albums minutes to midnight and their newly released album A thousand suns kind of disappointing me...What they had before with Meteora was just so unreal with a rock standard and great screaming. Yet now they have turned soft. When the album was released i was expecting a rock based album but later found out only 5 songs were of which i was expecting and the rest soft or just 30 seconds. Don't get me wrong Linkin Park is an unreal band as they remain to be my favorite yet they they just need to reclaim the sound they once had and bring back the rock based sound into play.

HI5 Frontflip/Orgazmic

Tyler Chorlton = Sexy Phenom

Bataleon yet again never seems to disappoint with its unreal footage and exceptional vids. This video features Tyler chorlton and his signature move, the double back flip. The song was a great choice as it starts off with a rather soft beat during the introduction and eventually hitting into the snowboarding section of the video with a bang. The video is based around the song as every beat is incorporated with the landings, take offs or special effect. All the footage is in slow-mo to give the audience a better view and to really see what is happening. There are some tricks he preforms that really blow my mind. The double front flip off the beginning and the triple at the end were a great way to open and close the video. The flip off the post of the shack and the nose grab front slip were also a tricks that tickled my fancy. I love the camera angles when the camera man goes with the snowboarder on the same jump or when the camera is on a crane that moves parallel to the snowboarder. All around great video that shows off the dirty flow of Tyler Chorlton.

Some People....

(Reuters) - The international police agency Interpol warned governments worldwide on Thursday of an increased risk of attacks on innocent people if the planned burning of the Koran by an obscure U.S. clergyman went ahead.

Terry Jones, leader of a Protestant church of about 30 members in Gainesville, Florida, plans to burn copies of the Islamic holy book on Saturday, the anniversary of the September 11 attacks which this year coincides with the Muslim Eid holiday.

"If the proposed Koran burning by a pastor in the U.S. goes ahead as planned, there is a strong likelihood that violent attacks on innocent people would follow," Interpol said in a statement, adding that it was acting partly on a request from Pakistan.

Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik asked the agency to warn national police of an "increased terror threat" if the burning takes place on Saturday, the ninth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington, it said.

"Given that we have been made aware of a significant threat to public safety -- an assessment which we share -- it is our duty to ensure that we pass this information on to law enforcement agencies around the globe so that they can take appropriate measures," said Interpol Secretary General Ronald K. Noble.

Noble said there were no specific details of what forms the attacks might take, but he warned the Koran-burning would have "tragic consequences."

Interpol requested any country aware of a specific threat to contact its headquarters urgently. Staff at its 24-hour command center will be placed on alert, it said.

U.S. President Barack Obama warned on Thursday that the pastor's plan could provoke al Qaeda suicide bombings and the governments of India and Indonesia urged him to stop the burning.

After seeing this on the news i could not believe what i saw. I understand the hate and why they feel this way but they are taking things to extremes which should never take place. The burning of one religions holy book is one of the worst acts that someone can do. By doing this to an already aggravated religion will create major problems around the world. Potential suicide bombings, random American deaths and possibly the start of a new war. This bunch of 30 idiots are going to start a whole other problem for the United States and they will be responsible for all the future American deaths. This puts American soldiers over seas in more danger and Muslims around the world will be aiming at them for their own revenge and  their own justice. Its weird how 30 unknown and completely random people can create such a world issue putting endless amounts of lives in jeopardy. Some people. Its a respect thing as well. No matter what happens we always need to have a certain amount of respect for their religion as well as their people in general.

Watching this video gave me the shivers. I could not wrap my head around the fact that this production was made of chalk. They drew the backdrop in some parts of the clip as if the camera angle is changing, giving the illusion of a 3D world. The idea and how they actually accomplish the idea boggles my mind. In some scenes, it almost looks 3D as if you’re in the production. (2.45 sec) They rotate the set 90 degrees making it seem like your in the castle.  It has a really trippy feel to it and keeps your attention throughout the video which makes it very enjoyable.
